MCT’s ‘Sally Cotter’ opens Friday at the Kenworthy

Moscow Community Theatre’s production of the “Harry Potter” spoof “Sally Cotter and the Prisoner of Ala Katraz,” opens Friday, April 14, at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center, 508 S. Main St., Moscow.

The sequel to “Sally Cotter and the Censored Stone,” directed by Sheralyln Culbertson, runs through April 23 with 7:30 p.m. performances Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. matinees Sundays.

The story follows Sally who, after falling asleep reading about a certain juvenile wizard, dreams she is a student at Frogbull Academy of Sorcery. Danger lurks, and Sally and her new friends, Dave and Harmonica, must save the day, perhaps becoming like the heroes in her favorite series.

Tickets, $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors, are at moscowcommunitytheatre.org/tickets.
