Inspired by his five children who range in age from 9 months to 9 years, Lewistons Larry Warren wrote The Groovy Tree, a book about how it is OK for them to be themselves.
Warren wrote the book under the pen name Geoffrey Bounds to distinguish himself from an uncle who shares the same name. The full-color book was illustrated by Nikki Weeks and is geared for kids ages 3 to 9. The book is self-published through Lulu and costs $15. Warren, who grew up in Orofino, is studying creative writing at Lewis-Clark State College. His first book, A Flash of Jammies, was published in 2014.
