Lewis-Clark State College is accepting nominations through Feb. 15 for three awards to be presented at its annual Women’s Leadership Conference in March.
A staff/faculty member, a community member and an LCSC student who is a role model to fellow students will be honored during the sixth annual LCSC Women’s Leadership Conference, set for 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 3 at the Williams Conference Center on the Lewiston campus.
Nominations can be submitted at lcsc.edu/womens-leadership-conference by scrolling down to the “Nominee Information” fields.
Nominees should:
- Exemplify leadership in their field of expertise.
- Serve as role models and mentors to women and girls.
- Be respected by their peers.
- Give back to the community or their profession through their time and talent.
- Advocate for positive change to help close the leadership gap and create a more equitable society for all.
Staff/faculty nominations also must address how the individual demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Lewis-Clark State College and higher education.
Registration for the conference, with the theme “Healthy Leadership: Women Finding Balance,” is open to everyone, regardless of gender, at lcsc.edu/womens-leadership-conference. The cost is $35, but full-time students can register for $10 by emailing professor Amy Canfield at aecanfield@lcsc.edu for a discount code.
