As the University of Idaho and greater Moscow communities mourn the four students killed over the weekend, organizers are gauging whether to cancel, postpone or move forward with events.
The city of Moscow and Moscow Arts Commission announced Tuesday that November’s 3rd Thursday Artwalk scheduled for today, Nov. 17, would be canceled “in respect for the victims of this week’s tragedy on the University of Idaho campus as well as those in the Vandal and Moscow community who are united in mourning.”
We will update the Inland 360 calendar at inland360.com as we learn of any additional cancellations. In the meantime, please check the social media accounts and websites of various venues on the Palouse for updates on events and activities.
The family, friends, classmates and community members grappling with this tragedy are in our thoughts.
As Moscow Arts Department Manager Megan Cherry wrote in the news release from the city, “We look forward to coming together with you all in future events that celebrate the creativity of this strong, loving community.”
