"Optimizing Education for All Students"

League of Women Voters of Moscow talk by Moscow School District Superintendent Tiegs: “Our education system is most successful when we provide opportunities for every child to discover what excites them and gives them a reason to learn for the rest of their lives.” Tiegs earned a bachelor of science in mathematics from Lewis-Clark State College with minors in information systems and chemistry. He also studied at the University of Idaho where he earned his masters of education in curriculum and instruction and an ed specialist degree in educational leadership. He holds Idaho teaching endorsements in biology, physics, natural science and mathematics for grades 6-12. Before Moscow schools, Tiegs was superintendent and technology director at the Nezperce School District.
