Palouse Habitat ReStore ribbon cutting

POSTPONED BECAUSE OF WEATHER: Palouse Habitat for Humanity announces the renovation of its thrift store is close enough to celebrate. The ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrates the project and the new name. In 2019, Palouse HFH started what would become a $1.5 million, multiyear project to purchase and renovate the building that is home to its store and administrative office. The store is now bigger and better, with more than double the retail space, a second check-out station, new flooring and fresh paint. It is more accessible, with exterior and interior ramps and an ADA compliant bathroom. It is safer, with fire doors, a fire wall and lighted emergency exits. It is more energy efficient with a repaired roof, on-demand water heaters and LED lights throughout.
