Peter Fletcher is an American classical guitarist based in Detroit and New York City. He performs more than 80 concerts a year, and he offers an audience-friendly, solo recital. His current recital program features the Bach Lute Suite No. 1 in e minor, "Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring," Tárrega’s "Recuerdos de la Alhambra," which is a favorite among audiences, Giuliani’s "Variations on a Theme by Handel," Caprice No. 24 by Paganini, "Four Preludes" by Mexican composer Manuel Ponce, two works by the Polish composer Alexander Tansman and works by Santiago de Murcia and Domenico Scarlatti.
