If theres anything better than a good library book, its a bad library book.
Time does not favor all published works equally. Designs, ideas and topics are all subject to the whims of each new era -- and as it passes, it leaves piles of books that were cool, once upon a time.
Within these discarded heaps are precious gems -- if only because they are hilarious and, as such, hold enduring value.
Like many of the libraries in the region, the Lewiston City Library holds regular book sales out of the titles that have been donated or are no longer circulated. We perused the collection that will be offered Friday and Saturday and found among it these treasures that will be available for purchase:

Besides the more humorous offerings, the book sale includes a wide selection of DIY, cookbooks, romance, large print, childrens and holiday books. DVDs and CDs are also for sale, along with a special collection of higher-valued books and book sets with a fixed price.
Books are for sale by donation at the Friends of the Library sales at the Lewiston City Library, and collected funds go toward library programs, including the summer reading program. A book nook on the librarys main floor holds an ongoing selections of titles for sale.
