Professor Jessica A. Fernández de Lara Harada (Oxford University) will speak on her research on the ambiguities of race in post-revolutionary Mexico, with particular attention to the history of Mexicans of Japanese descent. The talk, in the Clearwater Room, is one in the Asia on the Palouse Speakers Series, and co-sponsored by the Habib Institute for Asian Studies and the School of Global Studies.
