The author of "The Benign Skeptic" lives in Lewiston. Her childhood was marked by loss and hardship, but her story is one of resilience and transformation. At 8 years of age, she faced the sudden loss of her home, family, and security. She persevered to become a linguist, writer, teacher business owner, sculptor and mother.. With humor and candor, she shares her transformation, reminding us that strength and determination can emerge from the most difficult of circumstances.
