Display of 19 paintings by Rudy Wendelin to commemorate the 80th birthday of Smokey Bear. The collection of artworks depicts one of America’s most iconic advertising campaigns, including renderings of Smokey putting out campfires and answering fan mail. This traveling display is offered by the U.S. Forest Service. Campus and community members are welcome to visit the display on the second floor of the library during the building’s regular operating hours, available at lib.uidaho.edu.
