Solitary Sunrise

Greg Schmidt
I decided to beat the sunrise a few mornings ago, and opted for a new location. I made my way around the old railway bridge, and scrambled down to the river. Waiting for the sunrise, I watched the fog waft past, birds fly to and fro while going about their business, while the sunlight peaked over the distant mountains to play an amazing light show off of the clouds and the fog, all reflected in the tranquil waters.
