"The Art of Polly Walker" opening reception

Polly lives with her husband, David, in Moscow. Her love for art has been a lifetime passion. After retirement, she has had time to explore many new expressions of art, including hand-twined rugs, pottery, ceramics, theatre and painting. Stained glass on canvas is her newest creation. A number of years ago, she learned to use this technique on pottery and ceramic pieces, then thought, why not try it on canvas? So she did, realizing if she used a black canvas, it would look like stained glass. All black spaces, no matter how small, are void of paint.
