Lewis-Clark State College’s Talking River Review will put on a workshop next week for area writers of poetry and prose.
Talking River, LCSC’s student-run literary journal, will offer sessions from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in the upstairs lounge at the Student Union Building on the Lewiston campus.
Participants can bring excerpts of their writing to the free event. Presenters will provide tips on topics such as brainstorming, drafting and submitting works for publication.
Drawings will be held every 30 minutes for prizes from area businesses and organizations, including The Blue Lantern Coffee House, Amsterdam Coffee Club, Lancer Lanes and Casino, and the LCSC Humanities Division.
