wreath boxes

Charlene Purtee
Members of Troy Historical Society are preparing to decorate veterans’ graves in the seven Troy (Idaho) area cemeteries with wreaths as part of the Wreathes Across America Program. The program has been headed by Janet O’Conner and Charlene Purtee, Lt. Col. USAF retired, whose garage was filled with the boxes as they were delivered from the National Program. Other members of the Troy Historical Society promoted the program by soliciting sponsors for each of the veterans. There are a combined 230 veterans among the seven cemeteries in the Troy Cemetery District. The program has been headed by Janet O’Conner and Charlene Purtee, Lt. Col.
