Presenting about her new novel, "The Shining Mountains." Christie is the author of the Kirkus-, Publishers Weekly- and Booklist-starred novel Gutenberg’s Apprentice. She has returned to readers with something new in "The Shining Mountains," a journey across the Oregon Country of 1838, a tracing of both Scottish and Nez Perce life in transition, an untold family epic of the West.
