Music and dancing are planned for a Gladish Benefit from 7-9 p.m. Thursday (May 29) evening in the View Room at The Gladish Community and Cultural Center, 115 NW State St. in Pullman.
Oldies, rock ’n’ roll and country music will be performed by Larry Dahlberg, The Singing Mailman, who will play songs by request. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served, and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
Organizers are asking for a donation of $20, or $30 per couple, at the door, by card or cash. Proceeds will help fund operations at the struggling Gladish center, where a kickoff meeting for a Save Gladish Campaign will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday in the View Room. Community members are invited to help plan ways “to stabilize and preserve” the historic space.
