Children can navigate a bicycle safety course and receive a free helmet during the annual
Officer Newbill Kids Safety Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Eastside Marketplace, 1420 S. Blaine St. in Moscow.
The free fair offers safety resources for kids and families, child car seat safety checks by certified technicians, prescription drug take back and a chance to meet emergency personnel and explore emergency response vehicles.
The event honors the memory of Moscow Police Department officer Lee Newbill, who was killed in the line of duty in 2007.

Lucidity Photography Gallery & Gift celebrates its first anniversary from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in downtown Lewiston’s Newberry Square, 800 Main St.
Visitors can enjoy treats and discounts on owner Joseph Anderson’s photography prints and other merchandise.
The gallery, where Anderson displays and sells his wildlife photography, features work by a different regional artist each month. A reception for the latest artist, DeeDee Wood, is from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Valley Spiritual Center’s annual Holistic Fair promises tarot, astrology and spiritual readings from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Bennett Building at the Asotin County Fairgrounds, 412 Fairgrounds Road in Asotin.
Admission is $5 and free for children younger than 10.
Vendors offering items such as crystals and gems, wire-wrap jewelry, pottery and candles will be set up both days, and concessions will be available, including made-to-order doughnuts on Sunday.

Food Truck Night is Tuesday at the Nez Perce County Fairgrounds, 1229 Burrell Ave.
Returning vendor Deeney’s Ice Cream and a new one, Missy Moo’s Bar-B-Que, are among the trucks slated to be there. Missy Moo’s menu includes options such as brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs and barbecued chicken.
