Appy Festival, billed as the final event at the Appaloosa Museum and Heritage Center’s current location at 2720 W. Pullman Road in Moscow, is set for 4-7 p.m. Thursday (June 12).
Visitors can meet an appaloosa, browse vendors, listen to live music and purchase food and drinks from Wendy’s Wieners and Hunga Dunga Brewing Co.
A new location for the museum is expected to be announced soon.

The University of Idaho’s annual Screen on the Green outdoor movie series starts tonight with the documentary “Snail Hunters,” about a team of UI biologists studying a tiny snail species in the Galápagos Islands.
The movies, presented by the Department of Student Involvement, are shown Thursday evenings on Theophilus Tower Lawn in Moscow, except for next week’s screening of “Black Panther,” scheduled for Wednesday in observation of the Juneteenth holiday.
Films begin at dusk — around 8:30 p.m. — with seating available starting at 7:30. Attendees should bring a blanket or lawn chair and are welcome to bring snacks.

Lewiston’s Sound Downtown music series at Brackenbury Square, 605 Main St., continues from 7:30-9:30 p.m Friday with Eli Howard and The Greater Good, presented by Beautiful Downtown Lewiston.

The group Indivisible Moscow will hold a No Kings rally from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Moscow’s Ghormley Park, 400 Home St. to celebrate Flag Day and protest President Donald Trump’s “authoritarian excesses and corruption.”
The event is organized to coincide with protests by more than 1,600 other groups across the U.S., 10 countries and five continents, according to an Indivisible Moscow news release.
Another local No Kings rally is set for noon at Fifth and Bridge streets in Clarkston.

The annual free Cordelia concert series begins at 2 p.m. Sunday with an early Swedish Midsummer celebration featuring live Swedish music by Arvid Lundin and Deep Roots at Cordelia Church in Genesee. Treats will be served.
