This photo of cacti blooming in the desert was taken by Leif Hoffmann (Clarkston, WA) in the afternoon of May 20, 2025 when visiting "The Chapel of the Holy Cross". This Roman Catholic chapel, built from 1954 to 1956 into the red rock buttes of Sedona, Arizona, and within the Coconino National Forest provides great views of the regional fauna and flora.
