The annual musical garden tour, Music in the Garden, to benefit the Washington Idaho Symphony will be 4 to 6 p.m. June 18 in Lewiston and Clarkston.
The gardens, which may be visited in any order, are at 2912 Belle Vista Court, Clarkston; 1220 Third St., Lewiston; and 2740 Grandview Drive, Clarkston.
A grand finale dinner and auction will follow the tour from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Patt’s Garden Center, 1280 Port Drive, Clarkston.
Cost is $50 per person and tickets may be purchased at the Owl Pharmacy, Lewiston; Rosauers, Lewiston; and Patt’s Garden Center.

UNIONTOWN — Pullman native Wes Weddell will bring his four-piece band from Seattle to the Artisans at the Dahmen Barn event space here for a concert at 7 p.m. June 18.
The event is the second in the barn’s series of summer concerts. Weddell graduated from Pullman High School in 1998, and has worked as a full-time performing musician and teaching artist since 2007.
Members of the band include Brian Hoskins (keyboards and a 1998 graduate of Washington State University in Pullman), David Bush (drums); Weddell (guitar/vocals); and Alicia Healey (bass/vocals).
The group is touring in support of its new album, “Nobody’s Flag.”
Beginning in 2010, Weddell began working with the Bushwick Book Club Seattle, a collective of songwriters and artists who write and perform original works inspired by a different literary selection each month. Ten of these songs comprise the track list on “Nobody’s Flag,” according to a news release.
Cost is $15 at the door beginning at 6:15 p.m., and wine and beer will be available for purchase by those 21 and older.
The barn is at 419 N. Park Way.

MOSCOW — A Moscow Home and Garden Tour to benefit the Latah Recovery Center, will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 18 here.
Tickets cost $15 and are available in advance from BookPeople of Moscow, 524 S. Main St. and Fiddler’s Ridge Farm, 1638 S. Blaine St. Tickets also will be available beginning at 10 a.m. on the day of the tour only at garden No. 1, 634 E. B St.
Attendees will receive the tour addresses and a map when they buy tickets. The tour may be started at any of the locations, and a map will provide the easiest way to get around.
Following the tour, from 4.30 to 6.30 p.m., the owners of garden No. 10, Margrit von Braun and Ian von Lindern, will be hosts for a gathering featuring hearty appetizers and soft music. That address is 1075 Snow Road and U.S. Highway 95, on the west side of Highway 95.
The Latah Recovery Center is a peer-run community center for people in recovery from addiction and mental health issues, according to a news release. Darrell Keim from the recovery center will talk about the center and its purpose at the post-tour gathering.

GENESEE — Nordic Roots will play Scandinavian music for the annual Swedish Midsummer Festival from 2 to 4 p.m. June 19 outdoors at the Cordelia Lutheran Church here.
The first event in the 10th annual Cordelia Summer Music Series will feature maypole decorating beginning at 1 p.m. Traditional foods also will be served at this free event.
The church is at 1501 Danielson Road. According to cordeliachurch.org, the church is the oldest Lutheran building in Idaho, having been established in 1883. It is managed by the nonprofit Friends of Cordelia Lutheran Church.
June 21
PULLMAN — The next Science Pub, titled “Bugs,” will begin at 6 p.m. June 21 at Paradise Creek Brewery here.
The evening will feature James B. “Ding” Johnson presenting his research on bugs. Johnson is emeritus professor of entomology and department head in the Department of Plant, Soil, and Entomological Sciences at the University of Idaho in Moscow. Johnson will speak about his research on chrysoperla carnea, known as the common green lacewing, as well as other entimological information.
Science Pub aims to be an opportunity for attendees to learn about science in an informal atmosphere, according to a news release. Cost is a suggested donation of $5. The brewery is at 245 S.E. Paradise St.
