Moscow’s 3rd Thursday Artwalk, from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, features six venues sharing work by area artists and performers, including watercolor paintings, photography and dance.

Beer and cider will be served for those 21 and older at Pour Company and Moscow Chamber of Commerce + Visitor Center, and seasonal beers from Bombastic Brewing are on the menu at the Moscow Food Co-op, where visitors also can sample Irish Spikes Hot Sauce.

RE/MAX Connections, Thrivent Financial and Allegra Image 360 and are this month’s other host locations, showcasing a variety of local creators.

YWCA Lewiston-Clarkston’s eighth annual 5k Color Run fundraiser starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kiwanis Park, 806 Snake River Ave., Lewiston.

Registration, $25, is at ywcaidaho.org and from 8:30-9:30 a.m. race day.

The event helps the YWCA support survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence through its shelter programs.

A soup bowl hand painted by community volunteers and a ticket to next year’s Soup-Port Our Shelter fundraiser will go to the first race participant to cross the finish line.

Water stations will be available along the course on the Lewiston Levee Parkway, and CHAS Health will provide a first aid mobile unit.

An event designed to bring people together for the future of the community and democracy is set for 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the 1912 Center, 412 E. Third St.

United in Community, presented as a follow-up to last year’s United Against Hate Summit, is organized by the Latah County Human Rights Task Force and United Church of Moscow.

The event includes a talk by political strategist Scot Nakagawa with brief presentations by four local organizations and the Nez Perce Tribe. Breakout discussion groups to plan for next steps will follow, with topics ranging from supporting public schools to finding common ground to addressing theocracy.

Kate Bitz, a program manager with the nonprofit Western States Center will facilitate the discussion.

Commemorate the chaos of the region’s historic volcanic eruption 45 years to the day with a Mount St. Helens Drag Brunch from 10 a.m. to noon at Inland Oasis, 730 Pullman Road in Moscow.

Tickets for the all-ages show, with entertainment by local drag performers, are $25 at the door.

Brunch, catered by the Bad B Food Truck, includes a French toast bake, bacon, diced cheesy potatoes, diced potatoes and mixed fruit.

Proceeds benefit Inland Oasis, a nonprofit organization support LGBTQ+ people on the Palouse.

The Friends of the Asotin County Library’s Sidewalk Book Sale starts Monday at the library, 417 Sycamore St., in Clarkston.

The sale will be open from 2-5 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to noon Friday, with books for all ages, audio and video materials available to peruse and purchase.
