Group forms to explore the influence of the stars

Where astronomy is the science of celestial objects, space, and the physical universe; astrology is the study of the movements and positions of celestial bodies in the belief that they influence human affairs and the natural world.

For those interested in exploring the ancient art of astrology, a new group of novice and professional astrologers is forming in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley. Several long-time astrologers are a part of the group, including author William Schreib of Lewiston, a monthly columnist for the astrology magazine Dell Horoscope.

The group’s first meeting is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Valley Spiritual Center, 2707 27th St., Clarkston. The group will explore current events, planet cycles, chart interpretation and other lessons in astrology, according to a news release. Additional information is available by emailing Schreib at astrovisions@gmail.com.
