Asotin County Library will host a Community Assistance Visit in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service during which the IRS sets up a temporary Taxpayer Assistance Center to give taxpayers from the community and surrounding area an opportunity to meet face-to-face with IRS employees.
The IRS will share information, provide guidance and educate on tax matters.
They will serve taxpayers on a walk-in basis and by appointment. To make an appointment, call (613) 250-5328 and leave a message. An IRS employee will return the call to schedule the visit.
To receive assistance, taxpayers must bring:
• Current state- or government-issued photo identification
• Relevant IRS letters or notices they’ve received, and
• Requested documents.
