LHS Gold Voices win chance to perform with Foreigner

The Lewiston High School Gold Voices Choir will perform with Foreigner at its concert Sunday, March 7 at the Clearwater River Casino.

The 21-member choir, directed by Julie Burke, will join the band in singing its gospel-inspired No. 1 hit, “I Want to Know What Love Is.”

The group won the chance to perform after recording a 90-second video that got the most likes in a Facebook contest held by a local radio station. The choir received a $500 donation from the band. Students will sell Foreigner CDs before the concert and all proceeds will go to the Grammy Foundation and Music Education.
