Performances by Male Ensemble Northwest and the participants in a free workshop from earlier in the day for junior high, high school and community singers, including the official reveal of the new version of Lewis-Clark State College's alma mater, arranged by Dan Davison, a member of M.E.N. He created three arrangements, including an acapella choral, a fight song and a formal arrangement with piano accompaniment. M.E.N. was formed in Longview, Wash., and has been performing and giving workshops since 1982. Originally formed as a way to encourage more young tenors and basses to sing in choir, M.E.N. became a hit with Pacific Northwest choral programs. Each M.E.N. member is a professional conductor-teacher, composer or vocal performer, and many are choral directors in K-12 schools, colleges and universities throughout the Northwest.
