Brian White knows the formula for a winning song, although you’ve probably never heard his name.

The Nashville, Tenn., singer is best known as a songwriter whose work populates the country and Christian music charts. Among his best known songs is “Watching You,” a 2007 No. 1 country hit sung by Rodney Atkins.

Other artists who have sung his words are Jason Aldean (“In Case You Don’t Remember”), Trace Adkins (“Rough & Ready”), Kix Brooks (“My Baby”) and Rascal Flatts (“Aftermath”). He also has several No. 1 Christian music hits with a bevy of Dove Award winners.

White will perform with Lewiston singer Chad Bramlet at a free concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Red Lion Hotel in Lewiston. White is producing Bramlet’s next album, which is set to be released in 2017, according to Bramlet’s wife Alicia. Bramlet will be preselling his forthcoming album at the concert.

White also will perform and speak at 9:09 a.m. and 11:11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 at New Bridges Community Church in Lewiston.
