Sideshow artist Brad Byers made it through another round of auditions in NBC's "America's Got Talent."

Byers competed in the show's Las Vegas auditions on TV this week. The female judges were visibly disturbed by his act. Byers first snuffed a blowtorch out with his tongue. He then inserted an 18-inch hook into his nasal cavity pulling the end out of his mouth. He attached the hook to a chain and pulled a wagon holding two adults across the stage (YouTube video below).

The judges ended up sending Byers to the next round. His will be one of the Top 60 acts competing for a $1 million grand prize in the season’s first live performance show from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Tuesday, July 23.

Byers works for the University of Idaho in the Campus Surplus division. He was born and raised in Moscow and has taken his sideshow act around the world. He lives in Pullman. Season 8 of "America's Got Talent " will conclude on Sept. 18.

Guinness World Records calls Byers “the Human Tool Box.” He’s performed in 20 countries; on national TV for David Letterman; for the History Channel series “Stan Lee’s Superhumans;” and in the past on “America’s Got Talent.” A picture of him swallowing swords became an official postage stamp in Grenada. He earned the name the Human Tool Box because of his ability to insert tools into his body through his nasal cavities.
