If you’re thinking ahead to Valentine’s Day next weekend, area singers are taking reservations to deliver a song to that special someone.

Palouse Harmony Chorus barbershop quartets will deliver songs Feb. 12-14 in the Quad Cities area. Two quartets, ROMEOS and Four Names in Hat, will deliver songs from morning to evening Feb. 12 and 13 and after 2 p.m. Feb. 14. Deliveries include a rose, card, two or three songs and candy box sampler. Cost is $50. Singing valentines can also be delivered by phone for $25. Songs include "Heart of My Heart,” "You Tell Me Your Dream," "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," "Sweet and Lovely (That's What You Are To Me)," "I Love You Truly," "Sweet, Sweet Roses of Morn’ " and "Honey, Little 'Lize." Orders can be placed by calling Dan “the valentine man” Pierce at (208) 883-3600.

The Lewiston High School Music Department is selling singing valentines to be delivered to Lewiston-Clarkston Valley residents Feb. 12 and 13. A singing valentine includes a rose and a personalized card and message to be delivered by a group singing a jazzy love song. This year’s songs are "Let's Fall in Love,” "Cute," "Fly Me to the Moon," and "You are My Sunshine." Valentines may be purchased for $6 for LHS students, $10 for junior high and elementary schools and $20 for the community in Lewiston and Clarkston.
