Aritsam Bread is one of the vendors shoppers will find at the Moscow Winter Market. The market contines Saturday at the 1912 Center.

The first Winter Market of 2012 is Saturday at the 1912 Center, 412 E. Third St., in Moscow. This popular indoor market is open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and features wares created by local artists and craftspeople as well as produce, artisan bread and local jams and jellies.

Other popular items include pottery, soaps and lotions, handmade clothing, hand woven rugs, jewelry and hand dyed knitting yarn. On Saturday, Palouse Prairie School will provide a variety of chilis for lunch as a fundraiser for an upcoming visit to the Idaho Legislature in Boise. Free children's crafts are also available.

The final two Winter Markets of the season are Feb. 11 and March 3. The Winter Market is sponsored by Heart of the Arts, and all profits are used for renovation of the 1912 Center.
