Your old cell phone can help preserve Nez Perce County history

LEWISTON -Cell phones that are no longer in use are being collected in a drive to benefit the Nez Perce County Historical Society & Museum.

Lewis Clark Recyclers E-Waste Division is conducting a cell phone drive. From now until July 30 cell phones can be taken to 207 Capital St. in downtown Lewiston and a portion of their value will go to the society and museum.

Lewis Clark Recyclers accepts cell phones in any condition. Personal information stored on phones is safe because Lewis Clark Recyclers deletes all information stored on the phone before stripping it.
