Moscow resident Brad Byers performs during his "America's Got Talent" Season 8 premiere, where he swallowed nine swords and then twisted them while an X-Ray machine showed audience members the twist. Byers was sent home in the quarterfinals round of "AGT."

and twisting them, pulling “AGT” host Nick Cannon and Byers’ fiance on a cart by a hook through his nose, and on Tuesday, laying down on a bed of nails while his brother drove an ATV over a track set on Byers’ chest.

“There’s a million dollars and stuff involved, but it’s more for the recognition,” said the University of Idaho Campus Surplus division worker before his Tuesday performance the last of his “AGT” experience. “I’ve been working at this for almost 40 years. I’ve got a lot of guilt, sweat and tears,” he said.
