CLARKSTON — The 12th annual Cruzin’ to Clarkston Car Show will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on Sixth Street here between Elm and Chestnut streets.

Registration of cars is from 8 to 11 a.m., and cost is $5, or four cans of food. All money and food collected will benefit the Asotin County Food Bank.

The event will feature a 50-50 drawing, a poker walk and raffles.

UNIONTOWN — Spokane musicians Greg and Caridwen Spatz will showcase a variety of instruments and genres during their concert Saturday at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn here.

The second concert in the barn’s summer music series will begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:15.

They play fiddle and twin-fiddle, bouzouki, and banjo in styles including Celtic, eastern European, French Canadian, old-time and bluegrass, and their concerts highlight Caridwen Spatz’s multilingual vocals, according to a news release.

They have been playing music together since first meeting in 2000 as instructors at the British Columbia Bluegrass Workshop in Sorrento, B.C. They are founding members of the quartet Mighty Squirrel and Greg Spatz has played with John Reischman and the Jaybirds while Caridwen Spatz has played with Prairie Flyer.

Admission is $12 at the door in the new addition at the barn, 419 N. Park Way.

LEWISTON — Country music singer and songwriter Clint Black will perform a concert Sunday at the Clearwater River Casino east of here. The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the casino’s event center, 17500 Nez Perce Road.

Black burst into the country music scene in 1989 with the release of his debut, triple-platinum album “Killin’ Time,” which ended up producing five No. 1 hits, according to Black’s official website. Since then, Black has had multiple No. 1 singles.

In 2003, Black founded Equity Music Group, a record company that is home to his own recordings, as well as other artists. He also has acted in movies and on TV shows, and competed on “Celebrity Apprentice.” Concert tickets are available at the casino’s box office or online through TicketsWest.com. They range in price from $15 to $65.

PULLMAN — Pianist Scott Holden will perform a free recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Bryan Hall on the campus of Washington State University here. His program will include works by Schumann, Haydn, Vernon Duke, Wagner-Liszt and Strauss.

Holden is the chairman of keyboard performance at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

He graduated from the Juilliard School where he was awarded the Horowitz Prize, and as a Fulbright scholar, he studied and performed at the Liszt Academy in Budapest.

His 1996 Carnegie Hall debut recital was a result of winning the Leschetizky International Piano Competition.

Holden has performed in Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center, and his performances have been broadcast on radio and television.
