Folks, get thee to the holiday aisle of the store, stock up on a certain colorful marshmallow confection and warm up your glue guns: Its time for 360s third annual Peeps diorama contest.

Do you favor Peeps in peril for your diorama? Perhaps heroic Peeps are more your style. Consider a scene from your favorite movie, novel, video game or app (Peeps, Neko Atsume-style?); a great (or not-so-great) moment in history; or even a treasured pastime (do Peeps go fishing or camping?).
Heres how you can enter the contest.
Step 1: Buy some marshmallow Peeps.
Step 2: Using the Peeps and other props, create an interesting scene.
Step 3: Snap a flattering photo (or two).
Step 4: Send the photos to 360 and wait.
What are Peeps? Theyre those pastel-colored marshmallow rabbits and chicks made by the JustBorn company from Bethlehem, Pa., and sold around Easter time.
If youre not familiar with Peeps dioramas, just pop those two words into your favorite Internet search engine or visit www.inland360.com and put Peeps into the pages search engine to see who won last years contest.
As far as subject matter, almost anything goes. All we ask is you keep it clean enough for publication in a family newspaper.
Do not eat or destroy your creation after photographing it because if yours is chosen as the winner, youll need to bring your Peeps diorama to the Tribune photo studio March 25 for a photo to be published on the cover of the March 31 edition of 360. Entries will be judged by the staff of 360, and entries will also be available for viewing on inland360.com, where theyll compete for a Peoples Choice award.
Deadline for photo submissions is noon March 22. Up to three photos of each diorama may be submitted.
Heres how: You may drop off or mail a print to the Tribune office, 505 Capital St., Lewiston, ID 83501, or email your photo to arts@inland360.com.
There are two categories: 12 and younger; and 13 and older. Include the following information about each dioramas creator: name, age, city, email address and telephone number.
