"Good Doggie," a short thriller film by Lewiston's Normal Hill production company, will be one of the shorts shown 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Blue Lantern Coffee House, 326 Main St., Lewiston. A question and answer session with the filmmaker and actors will follow.
Normal Hill productions is headed by Matt Robinson of Lewiston, who directed the short which was written by his father George Robinson. The showing is for those 18 and up only, due to brief violence and language content.
"Good Doggie" had it's first screening at the first annual Idaho Horror Film Festival in 2014.
George introduces the film this way:
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen I've come to tell you a small tale of a man who loves dogs more than people , a woman pushed to the edge - scorned if you will, and the ties that bind them together: marriage, children, infidelity. We will begin on a sunny day at home where a love for dogs waxes and a love for each other has waned. We will end on a dark and stormy night with a good doggie."
