Vandal Healing Garden and Memorial Dedication

Will be held at MacLean Field, between the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences and the Physical Education Building. Students from the College of Art and Architecture in the Idaho Design Build studio worked all summer to complete the garden, which includes a special memorial dedicated to late University of Idaho students Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Maddie Mogen. “The garden is an incredible reflection of our students and how much they have cared about this project,” Dean of Student Blaine Eckles said. “It is a legacy that will outlast any of our time here. This student-led project shows the dedication, care and resilience of our student body. It truly showcases what it means to be a Vandal and honors our lost Vandals in a beautiful manner.”
