In June 0f 2010 about fifty cow Elk and new born calves were relaxing on Josephs near the Grand Ronde River. These two cows seemed to be having a discussion about if there was room for both of them in the creek. Evidently the one didn't want to share. Photo by Jerry Cunnington.

I took this picture Tuesday, July 20th while my daughter was at her swimming lesson. It was taken at our swimming instructors house in the Lewiston Orchards. This bird has a nest in a birdhouse. I watched it fly back and forth from the birdhouse to the yard, looking for something to feed its babies.
