Nature Walk

Neighborhood Naturalist Michelle Schmidt (who was recently featured in Inland 360) will guide a walk around the Asotin Boat Ramp area. She will discuss how to identify and make use of a handful of easy-to-find local plants, as well as explore their historical and ecological context. Adventure seekers of all ages are welcome; children 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Head to the town of Asotin, follow First Street to Wilson Street and continue straight. Destination will be on your left. Meet in the parking area at 8 a.m. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water bottle and good walking shoes.
