I encountered this "young buck" on my June 6, 2025 morning walk. I was sauntering through the Modie Park Conservancy path system by the Idaho State Veterans Home in Lewiston. What a wonderful surprise to encounter one of nature's gifts while walking on the grounds that are home to some of our nation's greatest treasures! My ongoing thanks and praise to those who have courageously served our country and those currently serving in the U.S. military! May you be safe and feel the appreciation of a grateful nation!
